Slate Takes was sent to cover Cipher’s launch of luxurious footwear at a “Big City, Bright Lights” celebration of 10 artists, who produced 10 tracks, lasting 10 minutes — the Cipher Mixtape. A series of evocative images by photographer Laurent Segretier, which captured each artist’s narrative, was also on display. (Completed: August 2010)
